Shelley Bolton (Sheebo) grew up in Laurel, Mississippi, and from early childhood her love of art has been an integral part of her everyday life. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi, Shelley and her husband moved to Memphis, Tennessee, where they raised a family and still reside today. Faith is at the core of her practice as she believes the ability to create is a gift for which she can take no credit, one that humbles and shows daily the need for growth.

In addition to working in many different mediums, Shelley has taught art to both children and adults and has also presented nationally. She is personally inspired by the organic and simplistic way children create without overthinking.

Influenced by the Cubism style, Shelley creates shapes from lines and patterns and blends them together with a myriad of layered colors. She commissions privately and commercially and has exhibited in both solo and group shows.
